The Pedlar Funeral Home Bantam LL Panthers finished up a successful weekend of play with 2 victories. On Nov 1st the Panthers went on the road to face NOTL #1. Scoreless with half the game gone, Charlie Devries went top deck to put the Panthers on the score board. Spencer Reynolds netted a power play goal off the face off in the dying seconds of the 2nd frame and Mitchell Karnay picked up a rebound to score the final goal of the 3-0 win. Ross Michalko picked up his second shut-out of the season.
On Nov 2nd the Panthers hosted Lincoln. Matt Vandenhaak sailed a shot over the stick-side shoulder to net the first goal. Charlie Devries copycatted that goal for the teams second, assisted by Mitchell Karnay. After Lincoln tied the game up, Devries went high on the glove side to put the Panthers back out in front. Ethan Wellman found the back of the net on a rebound from Jacob Gula and Elliot Song and Karnay scored an empty-netter for the 5-2 win. Goalie Tyler Scott provided some highlight-reel-worthy saves in a busy outing between the pipes.
