Red Canadians battle through their closest game of the season
In their closest game of the season, the newly named Canadiens of Pelham Tyke relied on strong team play and individual persistence to hold on against the Blue team.

Anchored by Adam in the net, whose athletic performance between the pipes turned aside enough shots to make the difference, and an improving defense, the Canadiens managed to stifle an incredibly strong attack from the Blue team.

Jonah and Isaac led the scoring, with multiple goals also coming from Tyler and Nate.  Fresh of a Florida vacation Paulo tallied his first marker of the year with a blast from fifteen feet out that beat the Blue team's goalie through the five hole.

The offensive output of the Canadiens was fueled with brilliant passing from Scott and Brayden, setting up multiple breakaways and shots on net for their team mates.

The Blue team did not go away though, answering the Canadiens goal-for-goal for most of the game.  However, the Canadiens dug deep, never slowing down or letting up, and managed to hold on in the end.
