Tyke Red Team Opens Season with a Win
In a hugely exciting, high scoring affair, the Red Team used a relentless attack to overwhelm an excellent offensive effort from a very strong green team.
Jonah Shapland lead the scoring, with multiple goal performances also coming from both Isaac and Adam Federico. Nate Pooley and Brayden Zavitz tallied goals in the contest as well.
Alex Rittner was denied a marker in the second period after a controversial call from the official, involving a net that was only somewhat off its moorings.
Strong defensive performances from Hudson McLachlin and Ella Paquin, and an outstanding effort between the pipes from Ewan Henderson kept the Green team off the board and sealed the win.
