Information for Pelham Players wishing to tryout for AAA, AA or A

If you are not a current PMHA member please click here then return to this page when instructed.

The OMHA allows players to tryout and play, if selected, for teams outside of their home center at the AAA, AA or A level.
AAA tryouts, except for U18 (Major Midget) which will occur in the fall, shall commence from the first Monday following OHF Championships and will be completed within 7 days. AA and A will commence consecutively immediately following AAA tryouts for a 7-day period.
The following are the regulations and procedures for these tryouts:

AAA Regulations
Pelham Minor Hockey is a member of the Southern Tier Admirals AAA zone (known as STA) and as such all players wishing to tryout for a AAA team MUST first register with PMHA and then attend tryouts with STA teams for their age group.  Players released from STA tryouts may then acquire an F1 release from the STA organization which will permit the player to tryout with other AAA teams provided that they follow the proper guidelines when selecting their next center.  STA can provide the player with the proper protocol at that time.

AA or A Regulations
The OMHA through its "Made for Ontario" plan permits players to tryout and play for teams at the AA or A level.  Players from PMHA may tryout for either a AA or a A team but NOT both.  Once the player chooses whether they wish to tryout at the AA or A level, the determination of where the player is eligible to tryout is simply a matter of location.

NRP forms cannot be provided until PMHA receives them from OMHA and are only available to those players in U12 (Minor Peewee) or older.
