On November 23rd, the U15 LL#3 team showed what it truly means to play with heart, grit, and determination in a hard-fought game against the Welland Tigers. Despite facing adversity with a short bench and losing two more players by the end of the game, this team left everything they had on the ice. While the scoreboard may not have been in our favor, the effort, resilience, and unity displayed by every single player made this game a standout moment of the season.
With only nine players left on the bench, the team could have folded—but instead, they rose to the challenge. Every shift was a testament to their toughness, as they battled through fatigue and kept pushing back against a rough and physical opponent. Their teamwork, relentless effort, and refusal to give up showed the true spirit of hockey.
