Pelham Bantam BB Panthers Finalists
The Baron Roofing and Siding Pelham Panthers Bantam BB team
participated in the Andy Passero Memorial Tournament in Fort Erie this past
weekend.
Finishing second to Strathroy in Pool Play, the Panthers secured a spot in the finals by overcoming a strong Fort Erie team in a shootout win to face the undefeated Strathroy Rockets team once again. The Panthers dug deep, never quit and at the end of regulation time the game was tied, 4-4. The game went into a 5 minute sudden-death, 4 on 4 overtime period. At the end of overtime the game remained tied. Once again the Panthers went into a shootout. Unfortunately this time we just couldn’t put it past the Strathroy goalkeeper and the Panthers took home the finalist’s trophy.
