The Boys are Back in Town
The Panthers win 3 of the last 4
After some mid season wo's, the Panthers have sprung back into form with some real good effort over the last 6 games, losing a couple tight ones and winning the last 3 of 4, including our last win over a superior Glanbrook team. we had a back to back series with Smithville that proves these 2 teams are matched up well. great hockey played in both games. the series was split 1-1.
The Panthers went on the road to Dundas to take on the Blues in the old Market St arena. Pelham proved, on this night, to be to much for Dundas to handle and defeating them 4-2
Still on the Road, our next stop was the growing town of Glanbrook. Glanbrook is at the top of the standings and the Panthers knew they were in for a tough night. 3 solid periods of effort and smart hockey kept the game to a 0-0 tie into the 3rd period. Pelham on a good forecheck, scored with 4 minutes left and hung on till the end scoring an empty net goal with 2 seconds left defeating the Rangers 2-0
Lets hope they continue this trend in the last quarter of the season.
