St. Catharines Warriors Tournament Peewee Champions
The Pelham Panthers Peewee Rep Hockey Team captured the Major Peewee Division Championship at the St. Catharines Warriors tournament held March 20-22.
The Panthers went through the Round Robin play undefeated, and did not allow a goal against during that 4 game span while placing first in their Pool. They then went on to defeat Stoney Creek 3-1 in the Semi Final Game. This led to a Tournament Final with local rival NOTL Wolves. This was another hard fought battle between the two teams which saw them tied 1-1 after regulation time. The Panthers then scored the winning goal with just over a minute to go in Overtime to secure the win and Championship.
Overall a great weekend of Hockey by the kids.
