An Important Reminder About Respect
A message for PMHA Parents, Volunteers, Coaches, Trainers, and Bench Staff.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of maintaining respect and sportsmanship throughout our season. Hockey is a game meant to bring us together, foster teamwork, and create lasting memories.

We all know how intense and exciting hockey can get—especially when you’re on the bench or cheering for your child. In those moments, it’s important to remember that it’s only a game, and our goal is to keep it fun and enjoyable for everyone involved. We encourage all participants to cheer positively, support your teams and players, and treat everyone—including opponents, officials, and volunteers—with respect.

If any issues arise, please refer to the PMHA Code of Conduct for guidance. In the event of a disagreement or concern, we ask that you follow the 24-hour rule: take time to reflect before responding. If needed, reach out to your PMHA convenor or a board member for assistance.

Thank you for your cooperation and for supporting our hockey community.

Together, let’s keep #PMHA a place where everyone can play, coach, and spectate in a positive and respectful environment.

Your PMHA Board of Volunteers is here to support all coaches and volunteer staff as we work to make hockey a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
