Announcement: PMHA transitioning to A Centre
Pelham Minor Hockey Association (PMHA) is thrilled to announce that
we have been approved to transition to an A Centre for the 2025/2026
hockey season!
The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) has granted our application on a phased probationary basis, which means that this season, PMHA will ice teams in the following divisions: U11A, U13A, U15A, U16A, and U18A.
In the upcoming season, we will have the option to request the addition of U10A, U12A, and U14A to complete our full transition. The divisions and phased approach were determined by OHF.
It’s important to note that this transition will NOT affect our local league programs. Local league players will continue to have their own opportunities as they always have.
Tryouts will take place in early May, and details will be posted on our website as usual. Both minor and major players will have the opportunity to try out, just as in the past, but with the new distinction of being an A Centre.
We are committed to improving our association by introducing an advanced technical director, allocating funds for additional skating development, and continuing with weekly goalie clinics.
