This past weekend U13 LL1 participated in the Oakridge Aeros Tournament held in London Ontario.
This Tournament is a single aged tournament, meaning all teams in
their division were Majors, but our Pelham Panthers advanced with a
major/minor team.
After finishing 1st in their Pool they progressed to the Semi Finals and had an amazing game advancing them to the Championship after OT and winning the shootout. Unfortunately they were defeated by the Kitchener Rangers 3-1 in the final game. Most notably the team received many compliments from the opposing teams‘ players, parents and the Tournament Committee. Congratulations to U13 LL1 for their outstanding effort and representing Pelham Minor Hockey with great skill and sportsmanship.
