As the PMHA enters into a new & exciting era, the association "business" side of things is an important and very busy aspect of our association.  A great amount of work gets done so that Coaches can get their teams to the ice surface, and so that players can play the sport!

The PMHA requires three Board positions to still be filled from within our membership base.

If you feel you have the time and skills to fill one of these Board positions, we require your help.  The association cannot run to it's greatest potential without help from our members.  Here are the positions available:

Director of Representative Hockey - Major age divisions - this means the Bantam & Midget age groups - this position is responsible for overseeing these teams.  (With the potential of adding a Juvenile team in the future as well)

Director of Junior Divisions (meaning Initiation age Hockey and Hockey School). With the significant changes announced by Hockey Canada, the OHF and the OMHA to 8 & under hockey programming which are being implemented next season, IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE PMHA FINDS SOMEONE WHO WILL FILL THIS POSITION for these programs to continue to run and be able to run smoothly.  You do not have to have a player in one of these divisions to fill this position.  But the PMHA must find someone to effective run/manage/guide our 8 & under hockey.

Director of Senior Divisions  - this encompasses the Bantam & Midget Local League age groups. This past season we had 6 teams in these 2 divisions.

Full "job descriptions" can be found at this link HERE in the Appendix.

If you have interest in pursuing one of these open seats on the Board, you can either contact the Elections Chair Mr. C. McQueen, or you can present yourself at the AGM (with nominators).  Please again review our Bylaws for the exact details of how this works.

Note for Board positions - the "job descriptions" for each Board position are reviewed annually based on the changing conditions/situations that may arise from within the hockey season, and occasionally adjusted.  People filling/applying to fill the PMHA Board seats should review that information prior to putting forward their name to ensure they have the time to commit to the position as per the job description. We look forward to someone coming aboard to work with our PMHA Board "team".

Bylaw changes and policy changes - if you wish to propose a Bylaw change or Policy change for review at the AGM, please review the Bylaws and the PMHA Operations Manual to see how to make your submission, and by which dates.

The official agenda for the 2018 meeting, and publication of the AGM 2017 Meeting Minutes will be announced on the PMHA website soon.

After the AGM, there will be a "social" in the main hall of the Legion.
