The Pelham Minor Hockey Association would like our members to take at look at the ice surface on your next visit to the Pelham Arena.
We are very excited that both our Pelham Panthers logo and the Silver Stick International logo now have a place on the ice surface.
It has been many years since the PMHA had ice surface logo coverage.
The PMHA would like to thank Tim & Harry from the Pelham Panther Jr B for ordering and paying for these ice additions as a gift to the PMHA. These are not inexpensive, so for us in the PMHA this is a wonderful gesture. Thank you guys!
This also would not have been possible without the Town staff - who went out of their way in off-hours to make sure these were put into the ice surface without interrupting user groups. This was no small task. Jesse and Bryan returned to the arena at midnight Tuesday and worked for many hours to shave down the ice, set in the logos, and then build the ice back up. The team at the arena then spent yesterday building the ice back up so that things were ready to go for when PMHA showed up to start our ice times last night. THANK YOU Pelham Arena staff for going out of your way to get this done with so little interruption to ice rentals and users.
