TYKE and JP Notice
TYKE & JUNIOR PANTHERS families...

Please be advised that your programs start this Saturday October 1.  Tyke all players are to report for 7:00am ice (arrival 20 minutes early) and Junior Panthers players should be ready to go for 8:00am (arrival 20 minutes early)

Tyke will use dressing rooms 1 and 3, JP will use dressing rooms 2 and 4 - and yes it will be crowded so arriving at the rink partially dressed is an advantage!

continued...

We will also have PMHA volunteers available to assist your skater on the ice during the Junior Panther ice time.

PMHA Board members will be present should you have any questions regarding ice times, planning, placement of your player or our association in general. Please track us down and don't be afraid to ask!

We realize this is an exciting time and worthy of memorable photo ops, and the first time at hockey for many participants, but please be advised that photo taking in the dressing rooms and hallway are strictly forbidden as per the Town of Pelham. We cannot have phones and other electronic devices in the dressing room areas.

A few quick reminders :

All players must have a properly fitted mouthguard and a neck guard - players will not be permitted on to the ice surface without these items.

Please ensure all equipment is fitting properly.

Players must be able to move on their own and fall down & get back up on their own to be able to participate in our Hockey School program. We are not a learn-to-skate program.

Bring a jersey - if you do not have one we do have some available for your player - please let us know in advance!

The dressing room areas will be complete chaos and crowded - please only one person per player in the dressing room and dressing room areas. Other family members can wait in the arena lobby or stands.

The only people able to go on the ice are the PMHA adults who are a certified and pre-approved PMHA staff member/coach/volunteer.  Spectators cannot go onto the ice surface or onto the benches or bench area in the Pelham Arena.

New members must have taken the OMHA (Ontario Minor Hockey Association) Respect in Sport (Parent edition) course prior to their child being allowed to participate as per regulations.

Membership fees must be paid for registration to be considered complete (and therefore insurance to be provided).

Schedules are always posted on the PMHA website calendar - and it is best to view this on the desktop version as opposed to the mobile version. Also - you can sign up for text alerts, email alerts and calendar (automatic) updates as your best way to be informed of your ice times and changes delivered right to you for your child specifically. See website for details on activating these options! We highly recommend this!

Thank you,
The PMHA Board

If you have any questions please contact the Tyke & JP Director Paul directly.
Lets have some fun and Lets play some hockey!!!!!
