Pelham Panthers Midget AE Win Niagara Championship
Submitted By PMHA on Friday, April 1, 2016
The Pelham Fonthill Dental Midget AE Panthers finally got back on the ice this week after a 3 week delay.

It started with a key tie breaker game win against Dunnville Tuesday night - with a final score of 4-2.

The Championship series was then set with Game 1 Wednesday in Lincoln.  The boys had something to prove after a couple of key losses to the Blades this year and they came out flying leaving with a 5-1 win.

Game 2 returned back to Lincoln last night with the opportunity to finish the series. With them playing their 3rd game in 3 nights, the team played well, and were able to complete the sweep and win the Belcot Niagara District final with a 4-2 win.

Similar to our PMHA Midget BB team and LL teams, the Panthers AE Midget team had some boys playing their last game of minor hockey - we wish both G Litalien and H Haines good luck in their future endeavors.

The Team would like to THANK their sponsor Fonthill Dental....and of course their Head Coach Doug Grant and his staff – Jordan Fraser, Jim Ottley, John Dooler and Shane Smith.

The other members of the Championship team are: D Chamberlain, R Ashbee, J Nunn, L Gaudet, N Overbeek, A Ottley, Z Smith, B Zurbrigg, R Dykstra, R Reece, Q Tucker, D Sheppard, H Steven, B Roptus and AP’s J Loscavo and B D’Angelo.

Great work Panthers!!!!!

And again to those graduating - hope it was an enjoyable ride being a Pelham Panther!
