Pelham Panthers Midget BB Win Niagara Championship
Submitted By PMHA on Fri 03 25, 16
The Pelham Shorthill's Villa Panthers Midget BB team went in to Grimsby Wednesday night and emerged with the Niagara District Championship trophy.

The Panthers were able to win the series two games to none.

For many of the Panther midget players on the team, this was their final PMHA Panther minor hockey game, and were thrilled with the opportunity to go out with such a memorable last game.

Congratulations to Coach B. Glenney and his staff (Coaches: C. Gualtieri, H. Gibson and J. Leavens) on this victory.

Coach Glenney stated "Our kids pointed out that we never beat the Grimsby A team since Novice until this series. I have coached many of these kids since Novice so this was a great way to end their minor hockey playing days."

He also added that the team was "a great bunch of players and parents who played as a team all year".

Thank you - to staff & players & parents - on behalf of the PMHA to all of the graduating Midget Panthers who have been with us for these many years for all of your dedication, time and effort towards the PMHA program and representing Pelham!

And congratulations as well to the entire team of players - and the APs - who participated with the Midget BB team throughout the season!
