"Thank You" from Pelham Panthers Bantam BB Team
Submitted By Bantam Rep Panthers Coach on Friday, March 18, 2016
The Pelham Bantam BB team would like to thank the PMHA executive, led by president, Victoria Morrissey, our scheduler Byron Sinclair, and our sponsor E.S. Fox.  A special thank you to our AP’s; Q. Annunziata, A. DeChellis, D. Pullar and J. Powell for stepping in when we needed them all year.

During game 4 of the Toronto Blue Jays playoff series against the Texas Rangers, Toronto pitcher R.A. Dickey was pulled two outs away from earning the win in a game that the Blue Jays were comfortably leading.  Toronto would go on to win the game and the series and when asked about being pulled he said, “It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you don’t care who gets the credit”.

As coaches we introduced that statement to the dressing room but it was our players that carried those words to the ice.  Their selfless, team first approach to the game carried them all the way to an OMHA Championship.

On behalf of the coaches, Mike Repar, Brent Mergl and Glen Walton, I would like to thank the parents, siblings, grandparents, friends and fellow Panthers for filling the arena and cheering on our boys.  It is something they will remember forever!

Thanks again,

John Carmichael
