The Pine Sold Atom AE Pelham Panthers took first place at the 45th Annual Gene Harrington Shootout Classic Hockey Tournament and AA Cup Challenge in Niagara Falls / Buffalo NY this past weekend.
The team went undefeated in Round Robin play vs. teams from NY and Ontario with an 8-0 victory over the West Seneca Wings to clinch their spot in the finals. They played against the other undefeated team, the St. Thomas Stars for an all Green and White championship game and were victorious with another 7-0 shut-out win.
The boys have come a long way this year and have shown amazing growth in unselfish play with superior passing, speed and team defensive support.
